I am a consultant Dermatologist based in the beautiful city of Bristol. I have made this my home after completing medical school at King’s College London where I graduated with distinction and a BSc in Endocrinology.
I was always drawn to Dermatology as I could see the huge impact having a visible condition had on patients. I pride myself on my listening skills and being approachable. These skills are well suited to my areas of expertise in inflammatory dermatology including acne, eczema and psoriasis, where my patients can expect to be listened to and a collaborative approach to management.
I co-lead the hidradenitis suppurativa tertiary service in Bristol and am passionate about improving and developing services, to improve the care for all dermatology patients. I have an interest in medical education and play an active role in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
Outside of work I am kept very busy with 2 young children, a lively cocker spaniel and a love of everything CrossFit!
The service works similarly to our isotretinoin service option but is best suited for those looking to explore all available treatment options for their acne including combination therapy. It’s also ideal for those who may not yet be ready for more prolonged treatments such as oral isotretinoin, or who want to discuss alternative approaches before committing to treatment.
