Dr James Denny is the co-founder and CEO of skindoc. He is also a Consultant Dermatologist and Deputy Service Director for Outpatient Transformation & Quality Improvement at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. He trained at both Kingston Hospital and the World-renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology in London. Dr Denny is the Clinical Lead for Inflammatory/Complex Dermatology as well as an expert in virtual/online Dermatology having designed and developed the largest NHS Teledermatology service in the United Kingdom. He is the Clinical Lead for NW London Acute Provider Collaborative (APC) and sits on the NW London Clinical Reference Group (CRG). His passion is making things better for you.
He simultaneously obtained his Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and a First Class Honours degree (BSc) in Microbiology at the University of Leeds. He also completed Postgraduate Certifications in Medical Education and Lord Darzi's prestigious fellowship in Clinical Leadership which was completed with distinction. He has been awarded several prizes most notably from The Royal Society of Medicine plus has Merits of Excellence in healthcare education. Dr Denny has published in over 20 national and international forums plus is registered with the General Medical Council, Royal College of Physicians, and is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists.
Dr Denny not only works for NHS and Private sectors but also support World Golf Tours with skin cancer screening. You won't see him on the TV though!
Finally, he is a keen endurance athlete having completed an IronMan 140.6, the Athens Marathon and the UK Three Peaks Challenge. He also enjoys scuba diving and skiing, both to an advanced standard.
